With the release of the new Mac Pro it is hard not to directly compare the two devices. Although one shall not compare apples to oranges, the comparison of raw specifications, however, seems legitimate and falls heavily towards the ANIMATE X3 Ultra: in terms of price/performance, pure performance per se and expandability - especially when it comes to proven PCIe Add-on cards – the X3 clearly leads the field.
